Women's Squash Earns Resounding 9-0 Victory Over Fordham

BRONX, N.Y. – The Connecticut College women's squash team blanked Fordham, 9-0, on Friday evening.

The Camels cruised to victory without dropping a set in any match. Freshman Angela Cao (Boston, Mass.) posted the most lopsided victory by defeating Kenzie Allen at the No. 6 position by scores of 11-1, 11-2, and 11-0. Sophomores Johanile Hurtado (New Haven, Conn.) and Lili Vazquez (Chicago, Ill.) as well as junior Noelle Giuliano (McLean, Va.) all handily won their matches by only yielding a combined four points.

Connecticut College (7-5) next hosts Hamilton on Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. Seniors Margaret Davey (Groton, Mass.), Davis Lemay (Harwich Port, Mass.) and Mikayla Waterhouse (Scarsdale, N.Y.) will all be recognized for their contributions prior to the start of the NESCAC matchup.
