BOSTON, Mass. – The Connecticut College women's squash team split a pair of matches against Tufts and Northeastern on Saturday. After falling to the Jumbos by a 9-0 decision, the Camels regrouped to defeat the Huskies by a 7-2 score.
Senior Margaret Davey (Groton, Mass.) sealed the victory against Northeastern by sweeping her opponent from the No. 3 position by scores of 11-3, 11-4, and 11-2. Classmate Mikayla Waterhouse (Scarsdale, N.Y.) also put forth a dominating effort at the No. 8 spot, downing her foe by marks of 11-2, 11-6, and 11-1.
Connecticut College (9-9) will next travel to Wesleyan to compete at the NESCAC Championships beginning on Friday, Feb. 7.
