NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College men's tennis team dropped its first NESCAC dual match of the spring to No. 17 Tufts by a 9-0 score on Saturday.

In doubles play, two of the three matches ended in identical 8-5 decisions. Juniors Brian Gould (Lebanon, Conn.) and Zachary Danz (West Tisbury, Mass.) were competitive in the No. 2 spot, while sophomore Evan Goldsmith (Pennington, N.J.) and SangJin Song (Roslyn Heights, N.Y.), another junior put forth a notable effort at No. 3.
Tufts (2-0, NESCAC 1-0) had three student-athletes who were double winners. Nathan Niemiec, Niko Hereford, and Ben Biswas all triumphed in both singles and doubles action.
