Connecticut College Athletic Hall of Fame
The most distinguished student-athlete in the history of the women's tennis program, Beret Remak '07 advanced to compete at the NCAA Championships in singles action three times and was recognized as an NCAA All-American twice in 2006 and 2007.
Ranked as high as fifth nationally and first in New England, she advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals and was named the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Northeast Region Senior Player of the Year. Remak was also a two-time All-NESCAC First Team selection, a recipient of the school's prestigious Anita L. DeFrantz Award, and she was voted to the 2007 ESPN the Magazine Academic All-American Women's At-Large Team for academic and athletic excellence.
Since graduating with a degree in Kinesthetic Science and Psychology, the native of Minneapolis, Minnesota has been working for Home Box Office (HBO) and traveling around the world as a producer in its sports department. She has won numerous Sports Emmy Awards for her efforts with both HBO as well as NBC's Coverage of the Olympic Games.
