Connecticut College Athletic Hall of Fame
Susan S. Ford ’67 was three-sport standout at Connecticut College, enjoying tremendous success in basketball, field hockey, and lacrosse.
Best known for her outstanding play in field hockey, Ford was a 10-time First Team Boston Field Hockey Association selection.
Ford served as the head coach of the field hockey and lacrosse programs at Wellesley College from 1980-91.
Following her coaching career, she was named president of the United States Women’s Lacrosse Association.
