Patrick Troy '10 was a central figure of the men's swimming class which helped to put the program on the national map. Specializing in the butterfly and sprints, he was a two-time NCAA All-American as well as a five-time NCAA All-America Honorable Mention selection who ended his career as a school record holder in eight events.
Furthermore, Troy was a 16-time all-conference honoree who earned the NESCAC 4-Year High Point Swimmer Award for accumulating the most points at the annual championship meet between 2007 and 2010. His efforts also resulted in the Camels finishing as high as fourth at the NESCAC Championships and 16th at the NCAA Championships, which were both program bests at the time, and set a new standard of athletic achievement for the program to attain each year moving forward.
Troy, who majored in Economics and Geophysics at Connecticut College, earned a master's degree in Geoscience from the University of Pennsylvania and is a licensed professional geologist in New Hampshire working as an environmental consultant.
