Catherine “Bambi” Flickinger Schweitzer '75 was a standout tennis player at Connecticut College. She teamed with classmate Josephine Curran to win the state doubles championship in 1971 and ‘72, defeating competition from Yale and the University of Connecticut. 

Following graduation, Flickinger Schweitzer, her husband, and her father founded the college’s tennis courts where both the men’s and women’s tennis teams play their home matches.
