Betsy Woods McNeil ‘97 proved to be one of the most talented soccer players and gifted scorers to compete in a Camel uniform.

Playing in the midfield, Woods McNeil and the Camels reached the semifinal round of the ECAC Championship for three straight years from 1993-1995. 

In her rookie season on the pitch in 1993, Woods McNeil and the Camels posted a 10-5-1 record. Woods McNeil garnered NSCAA All-America Honors as a third team selection in 1994, leading her team to a 9-6-1 mark. In her senior year, Woods McNeil earned All-New England plaudits for the third straight year, helping the Camels post their fourth straight winning record at 6-5-3.

Woods McNeil’s teams posted a record of 33-22-7 (.588) during her four years of play. She ranks second on the program’s all-time scoring list in all three major offensive categories, having graduated with 24 goals scored and 19 assists for a career total of 67 points.

McNeil received her Bachelor of Arts degree in cultural anthropology and African studies.
