Connecticut College Athletic Hall of Fame
A scoring machine, James Cawley ’74 was a pioneer member of the men’s basketball program at Connecticut College.
Cawley sparkled in his Connecticut College debut, scoring 23 points, and went on to average 26.2 points per game during his freshman year.
He scored 30 or more points in a single game four times during his career, including a school record 42 points on January 29, 1972 against Vassar.
